Future Leaders Forum

The Future Leaders Forum programme jointly run by IMEX and MPI (Meeting Professionals International), has been developed to encourage the best and brightest students to enter the meetings and incentive travel industry. Nearly 3778 students have passed through the programme since its launch in 2003, attending one of 55 Forums worldwide. 90% have said they are more likely to enter the industry as a result.

The Future Leaders Network is aimed at offering former attendees a network of peers from across the world, as well as continued career guidance and opportunities.

“We felt this experience was a once and lifetime opportunity. Being surrounded by people working within the industry was an enlightening and inspiring experience. We both came away from the conference, feeling like we have begun treading the waters of our future. We are thankful to all who made this experience possible for us, and we look forward to our future in sustainable events.”
Drew Pfefferle, Nikki Robb

Students who attended the Green Meeting Industry Council (GMIC) Future Leaders Forum in Denver.

"I can honestly say that the Future Leaders Forum was the best experience that I think any student can have."

Sydney Osmun

MPI student member of the Utah Chapter

"The most useful aspect of the Forum was actually meeting the other Future Leaders, as well as the current leaders. We all certainly feel that we not only have advocates, but we have people who are happy to invest in us, and they do."
