IMEX-MPI-MCI Future Leaders Forum at Conventa
The Future Leaders Forum at Conventa, Ljubljana, Slovenia took place on 18 January 2012.
The second Future Leaders Forum to take place in conjunction with Conventa lasted for a day and a half enabling some of the students to attend the opening and welcome party of Conventa. Once again 40 students from Slovenia and Croatia were able to enjoy a wonderful line up of speakers including Linda Pereira, Senior Partner and CEO of L&I communications Group, Paul Kennedy, MBE, Director of Kennedy Integrated Solutions, Natasha Andlovec, Marketing Manager of Bohinj Park Hotel, Marusa Rosulnik, Early Stage Researcher GO MICE, Azra Botonjic, Marketing Manager Slovenian Convention Bureau and Tuula Lindberg, Past President of ICCA and past Managing Director of the Finland Convention Bureau.

Creative Challenge
The winner of the Creative Challenge, Milan Sajovic will be going to Estoril in August to enjoy work experience at the event that the students prepared proposals for. In addition, Milan has been given a year’s membership for the GMIC (Green Meetings Industry Council). To round off a very successful Forum, all the Challenge winning team were given a year’s student membership for MPI. Special thanks must be given to Marusa Rosulnik and Miha Kovacic, Director of the Slovenian Convention Bureau for making this such a memorable Forum for the students.
