IMEX-MPI-MCI Future Leaders Forum with EFAPCO
The IMEX-MPI-MCI Future Leaders Forum in conjunction with the EFAPCO Congress took place on 12-14 January 2012 in Estoril, Portugal. The IMEX-MPI-MCI Future Leaders Forum at EFAPCO Congress 2012, the first of 2012, was also the first to include MCI as a new partner. Following a successful partnership with EFAPCO in 2010, the Future Leaders Forum was once again open to students from the host destination, Estoril, Portugal. A total of 53 students from six educational establishments participated in the event which took place simultaneously with the main congress.

Convention Bureau, Manuel Guedes de Sousa - Palácio Estoril Hotel, Luísa Ahrens Teixeira, Mundiconvenius, Pedro Rocha dos Santos, Estoril Congress Centre, Teresa Vilas Boas, Turaventur) from different industry sectors participated in the roundtable section of the event, where students had a chance to informally discuss their career path and the day to day reality of working in the industry. The students were also able to attend the main EFAPCO Congress. Additionally two students (André Catarino and Matilde Almas) participated in a debate with two young entrepreneurs (Diogo Assis - events by TLC and Jonathan Bradshaw, Founder, Meetings Mindset®) about the future of the industry, an integral part of the main EFAPCO Congress programme.
