Certification of event locations in the field of sustainability

Together with its partner Green Globe International, the European Association of Event Centres (EVVC) develops industry-specific criteria for the certification of event locations in the field of sustainability – shedding light on ecological, economical and social aspects in the process.

IAPCO will launch its 2009 fourth annual survey results, including the total number of meetings, participants, budgets and economic impacts. Each year there has been an increase on the previous year and despite the economic downturn, this has proven true for 2009. The Meeting and Convention Market 2009 in Germany and Berlin

The long awaited general economic recovery has already started on the German meeting and convention market. The growth rates over the last three years are far higher than those of the other target groups in the travel sector.
