Partners, the Convention Industry Council (CIC) offer approved candidates the opportunity to take the CMP examination at IMEX – the CMP designation is held by over 14,000 individuals in over 36 countries and territories.

Some highlights of the seminars that will take place at the Inspiration Centre at IMEX 2012.

• The Visionary Event Series

This new programme will showcase three special events that have pushed the boundaries of the meetings industry, shaping the future of events. These visionary events will be recognised and the planners responsible will run case study seminars and campfires on the Inspiration Centre to share their experiences and findings.

• Using Sport and Tourism to Push Your Brand

With Martin Suiter Sport and Tourism Consultant. The experiences of hundreds of events with up to 140,000 participants taught Martin Suiter how to use these fields to push a brand and how to catch the customer’s attention while they are relaxing and in a good mood.

 

• Meetology®: The Science Behind Effective Meetings

Do you know why you should consider holding a meeting lying down? Attend this fun, light-hearted and interactive session with Jonathan Bradshaw, Founder, Meetology® Group to find out! Sit back as you are taken on a journey exploring the science behind not only creating the perfect meeting space but ensuring those attending perform at their very best.

Campfires

The popular campfire education sessions will be expanded this year. Campfires are informal educational sessions for small groups of up to 12 people. The group sits in a small circle to encourage interaction and the session is facilitated by an industry professional. The campfires will cover a variety of topics to be announced soon.

Be sure to look out for campfires at the Sustainability Hub, the Meetings Mindset Pit Stop and the Tech Tap stand.
