IMEX Power of 10 - Student Case Study Competition
IMEX and Fast Future Research launched the Power of 10 Student Case Study competition earlier this year. The goal of the competition was to identity students’ ideas or visions of how different aspects of the meetings industry could evolve over the next 10 years and to identify case examples from around the world of how business events, meeting venues and meeting destinations are innovating to prepare for the future. The winning essays will contribute to the IMEX Power of 10 Research Study launched to commemorate IMEX’s 10 Year Anniversary this year. More information here.
The Winners
The two winning submissions were from Irina Trofimovskaya, who is currently studying International Events Management (BA Hons) at the Europe Business School London, and Stefanie Castellanos, who is studying Event Management at Sheffield Hallam University. Below are their case studies:

What Did They Win
The winners will receive:
• Free economy travel to Frankfurt to take part in IMEX 2012
• Two nights’ accommodation in Frankfurt
• Participation in the IMEX-MPI-MCI Future Leaders Forum, on 23-24 May 2012
• The opportunity to present a short summary of the case study during the Future Leaders Forum
• Publication on the IMEX website
• A certificate highlighting the achievement, presented at the Future Leaders Forum
• Inclusion in an article highlighting the winning submissions in the IMEX Daily Paper, distributed at the exhibition to all industry professionals attending.
The best 10 entries will also be published as part of the Power of 10 research report.
